The teamA small, interdisciplinary project group.
Leadership, software, and electronics — with welfare validation reviewed by a planned external advisor. We present real roles, not decorative names.
Fereshteh Zavvari
Leads coordination, systems design, and deployment strategy. An architecture and urban-design background brings systems-level thinking to how the tools work in real farms, processing spaces, vessels, and low-resource settings — workflow mapping, operator-centered design, training material, documentation, and coordination of the research-discovery phase. Species-specific welfare validation is reviewed with an external advisor.
Mohsen Seyedkazemi Ardebili
Builds the digital foundation: data collection, risk-scoring logic, dashboards, reporting, and automation. Designs the layer that turns sensor data, timing, and observations into simple, fail-safe, explainable outputs — acceptable, uncertain, or intervention required — ready for future edge/cloud integration.
Mahyar Pourjabar
Leads the hardware layer: sensor selection, low-cost prototyping, camera and edge-device feasibility, data acquisition, and device–software integration. Keeps the project practical, affordable, and buildable — from concept to deployable prototype.
Fish Welfare / Aquaculture Advisor
A welfare, veterinary, aquaculture, or seafood-processing advisor will review welfare indicators, validate assumptions, identify relevant species and use cases, and keep the project scientifically grounded. StunAssure does not claim software alone can determine consciousness — verification happens in collaboration with domain experts.
We are actively seeking a welfare advisor.
We plan to involve fish welfare, aquaculture, veterinary, or seafood-processing advisors during the first phase to review assumptions, validate indicators, and help define responsible use cases. Even a short "interested in advising if funded" conversation strengthens the project.
